My, oh my, where does time go?

My, oh my, where does the time go?

Hadn't realized that the placing of spring into summer has now lead into summer turning into fall...

Well, the big change is now done and completed.

DH has now returned, full-time, to Active Duty- USN.


It meant a few day trips to our new duty station area, finding a rental, losing it, then finding another rental house.
A quick packing, a quick loading, and once again cursing the truck/delivery driver, how else do things get all mixed up,
besides the on somewhat excessive speeds and shuffling of the trailer box.

Yup. We packed it all up. Moved it in a POD. Unloaded it. Only a few casualties. Missing only a box.

Not too bad.

.....

So, here we are.
In an area we have lived before.
Slightly bigger house.
Everyone seems comfy.
Of course we have to get back into new routines.
For husband's work. For my schooling. For the kids' schooling.
New neighborhood walking paths for the dog.

Not to mention a few houses down, the ladies like to save the neighborhood
lost cats. Which drives Luna absolutely bonkers.


....

One survived his reconstruction surgery. Bone was taken from his hip and placed into his mouth to reconstruct his palate.
His nose was worked on, shaved down a bit, and sewn to give it better shape.
We are currently a couple of weeks post-op, but I feel he is doing amazingly well.
He has matured, somehow, over the last couple of weeks, and I hope that it extends into the upcoming school year.

Still looking for a church.

Also have a date coming up. We are off to see a show in D.C. for our 12th wedding anniversary.

Life is wonderful.
